We went to Liquid Planet Water Park in Candia today, July 30, 2008 and here is my review....
Parking: Plenty
Gate/Admissions: [$$$$$] The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Normally I do not comment on park pricing, but I will here. Check the website for pricing. There is a discount after 2:00 pm. I would suggest arriving after 2:00 pm to avoid the full day price and the buses.
Birthday Parties: Yes
Bathrooms: There are three bathrooms (men's, women's and a family room!). We used the family room. It was very clean with plenty of room to change.
Cleanliness: This park just opened this season. It's very clean.
Store: They have a cute souvenir store that has a lot of merchandise for sale. They also sell ice cream (in the package) and drinks. There is an ATM in the store also. They have a lunch shack which has a lot to choose from at reasonable prices. Plenty of shaded seating outside to sit down and eat your lunch.
Overall: My son loved this park. I liked it also! The area for the younger children is fabulous. It's deep enough for them to get wet but it's not intimidating. They have great sprinklers and bubblers for the kids to play in. The small water slide structure has three slides. The kids love it! They have neat bouncy things to sit on that spray water and little seats for young children to bounce in. The park itself is small which is great when you have little ones. There is a small pool and two large water slides. There are limited umbrellas around the pool area though. They do not allow any outside food or drinks into the park. Many parents pack a lunch and leave it in their vehicle. They allow you to leave and come back in. We enjoyed Liquid Planet. Go check it out!

I suggest calling ahead to find out how many buses are scheduled for the day of your visit. Today there were 300 bussed in kids. It made it very busy. My kids and I had a blast other wise.
My kids loved the water park! They had two lifeguards at each section and really busy times, three. Lots of lawn chairs. What we did not like was the No limit on how many kids were allowed in the pool. That was kinda nuts for the little tots. Other wise we will be going back!! Sabrina
We went on a day that there were no buses and it wasn't crowded at all. We loved the gift shop and bought some neat water squirters. It is defintely very clean and a great spot for the very little ones (free under 3) but it's rather pricey. There are only 2 slides and a height restriction. My chilcren are interested in slides but don't meet the 48" height requirement so they were restricted to the kiddy area and it's a lot to pay for two kids and a mom that can't go on anything. I also think food & drink (minus alcohol and glass)should be allowed so people don't have to go to their cars to enjoy a snack or lunch.
Extremely pricey for what you get. Staff well trained but seemed bored with jobs; they were also very abrupt with kids. My kids (7 & 10) begged to leave after one hour. You can't bring in food or drink (our bag was searched when we went in) and the lunch options at the park were very expensive. For two adults and two kids admission and lunch were $130 and we were only there an hour and a half.
I also agree that it was pricey for what you get. It is a great place for the toddler age group, but my son is almost 10 and doesn't care about the "sprayground"...he wants the slides and pools and there are only the 2 slides, which makes it a little boring for the older kids.
I hope they do expand like they say they are planning on doing!
I would have to give it 2 1/2 smiles for kids 7 and up.
Thought it was great today! We went after 2 PM, most of the camp/group trips leave by 3:30 at the latest, so things really quieted down... 3 hours was just right. My son (almost 7) loved it just as much as my 3 year old daughter.... They both went down the slides, with me and another adult friend. Life guards were super attentive... New swimming area (lake) has a very cool inflatable structure in the middle which I think the older children might enjoy. I would never go first thing in the morning and pay full price! We'll definitely be back!
We had a fantastic time today! I think if you go in knowing that the park is not huge, therefore setting your expectations accordingly you can have a great time. I went with my three year old son and two teenagers (15 & 17). We enjoyed the lake where they have a huge blow up slide. They sold these items called Big Squirts which most people had and it entertained my son all afternoon. It was nice to have a place "in my own backyard" to go to. I will definitely go again. They have only been open since last year and are looking to add more stuff in the coming years.
We went for the first time today and I was bummed. The kids had a good time but definately not worth the money. I think if you live near by and could get the season pass it would be good but it was $60 for myself, my 6 year old, and my 3 year old (and that's with coupons) and after about 2 hours they were kind of done. The pool area is too small- the splash pad area was fun but small and crowded (if you've been to the Don Ball Splashpad in Derry that is just as much fun for free!). The two water slides were fun- I was able to do one of them with my 3 year old which he enjoyed.
I was disappointed that they do not let you bring food in it can get really pricey and not that many choices for lunch. In fact the only soda fountain drinks available where caffinated- there fruit punch and tea were not working. We left our lunches in the car and went back out to eat them but they have no picnic areas set up outside so we had to sit in the car and eat. It was a disappointing trip.
I was not impressed with this place. I had a real age range and while my littlest ones enjoyed it - I think those over 6 will struggle. They have added a new attraction in a spa fed pond. This was nice in principle, but in a park targeted at younger kids a considerable leap. The 10 year old I had with me even struggled with this - it is really too much of a leap. Arrive after 2PM to get the best deal, when the buses leave the place is much more fun. Also - they allow no outside PFDs but have many life jackets available. Disappointed with the food pricey and not very good for you. All in all I will not go back.
