Beech Hill Farm, Hopkinton, NH (4 smiles)

We went to Beech Hill Farm the last week in May (the 25th) and here is my review....

Parking:  Plenty

Gate/Admissions:  Best Part... NONE!

Birthday Parties:  Yes

Bathrooms:  Didn't use it.  Next time I will check.  They do have a sink with running water to wash your hands before you hit the ice cream!!! Yummy!

Cleanliness of Park:  Okay.  Not immaculate but not dirty.

Store:  They sell ice cream!  It's delicious.  They also have beautiful flowers and a small farm stand.

Overall:  I really like this place.  They have farm animals that the kids love, a cool maze in the fall and a horse drawn carriage ride.  There is also a sand pile with toys and a couple of picnic tables.  The best part...it's free!  (of course if you choose to buy ice cream or anything else that will cost.)

The bathrooms (3 of them I believe) are new and in excellent condition. We enjoy the "Make Your Own Sundaes." At the rear of the ice cream stand are large tables that you can sit at...although school-age children LOVE to sit on the huge rocks outside the store. They also display/sell country crafts/items.

This is another place we went for the first time last yr. We're looking forward to going again during pumpkin season!

I don't think there was enough said about this gem! We have been going since my daughter was 18 months old. There are quite a few animals (in the spring even their babies!) There is a corn maze in the fall as well as a nature trail. There is an old barn with some farm antiques, an outside sink to wash and the farm stand sells plants according to the season. The little country store is very cute as well. In the back area they also do stepping stone crafts. Sometimes they feature live music!
Check it out!

We go here pretty frequently, as it is just a stone's throw to my 3-year old twins preschool. The preschoolers also take a couple of field trips each year to the farm. My kids like it, because their are animals and ice cream!! I like it because it is small and manageable.

The bathrooms have always been clean, and their is an outdoor handwashing station, so you can keep your kids relatively clean. We always visit the animals first, and when they are ready we get ice cream and sit on the picnic tables out front. It is a nice low key kind of outing. - Sharon

My kids LOVE the nature trails and corn mazes here (and the ice cream of course). The trails are very child frindly and the main reason we go!!

We go here often, the icecream is very good, the animals are great- mazes, it is a great little place. My only gripe is the woman that owns it can be kind of grumpy, not the most welcoming feeling.
